Wild West Wales gigs for 2010 continue with AMY WADGE

Amy Wadge, who has previously won the much coveted 'Best
Female Solo Artist' at the Welsh Music Awards, has taken time off in the last year as she recently became a mum, but is now
back with a renewed sense of vigour and a whole new bank of stories to tell and songs to sing. With years
of touring experience under her belt (she has supported Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Damien Rice and Eric Bibb amongst others),
Amy has developed and nurtured an absolutely captivating and quite magical live experience, which she will once more take
to the road with over the coming months. Wild West Wales are very pleased to be able to bring Amy back to the Talbot
again. ‘Pint sized poetess with a valley quaking voice. Her songs have a raw vibrancy that suits
her earthy voice and emotionally mature lyrics’ - Q magazine Supporting
Amy is Garron Frith who is local to Tregaron but now does most of his performing up in the North West. In Nov 2007 Garron
Frith released his debut album on Ravine Records. The album was produced by Simon J Alpin and features
10 acoustic based songs with a little help from Chuck Prophet, The Willard Grant Conspiracy, Grand Drive, Simon on lap steel
and Mandolin and some great other musicians along the way. This led to tour supports in 2008 with everyone from John
Cooper Clarke to Glenn Tilbrook. Last year Garron toured England and Ireland and opened for acts such as
Midge Ure, Imelda May, The Saw Doctors and Ian McNabb. The year ended with a sell out show at The Verge in Hyde, Greater Manchester
and Garron was asked to open for Madeleine Peyroux at the Lowry. ‘One of the North West's best kept secrets - that is until now!’ - Maverick This will be a great night with two superb performers.
